I'm loving this new album cover from Kanye's fourth studio release.

So far all I've heard is Love lockdown and Heartless both I suspect about his ex Alexis Phifer. When you listen to them you can really hear the heartbreak from this poor man who really didn't have an easy year but managed to produce two great songs.

I've read that most of the album is sung by Kanye using Auto-tune which is favoured by T-pain. I'm not a fan of Auto-tune which is something that is loved by Britney Spears and other 'don't have great voices' singers but it somehow works here with Kanye. I'm worried that it might be a bit too much but I will reserve comment until I have heard the whole album.

Waiting with fingers crossed for November, 24 2008 until then the repeat is on with Heartless.

HOME by Michael Buble

Jeez, his voice is like warm honey. So sweet, cozy just like the home he's describing.

The Incredible Hulk - Trailer #3

Wow, cant wait to see the version of the Hulk man. I want to see how Ed Norton plays the man in green.

David Cook- Hello

This guy got me at hello. This is a great song in itself but somehow David managed to add some extra magic of his own. Fantastic.

It has been along time and I have neglected blogging. But then I was employed then and now I have free time again.

It's 2008, well six months into it and it's a year that is full of unrest. Here in Southern Africa and other parts of the world. Everything has gone up; fuel, food and transport. You tend to wonder how this year is going to end. Good or bad?

So far I'm counting til it ends man. A friend of mine once had a bad month where everything seemed to go bad and it seems that that is happening to me but instead it being a month it's a whole bloody year.

Well, the only way is to hold my head up and hope not to drown.

But musically, it has been a good year. Usher is telling us to make love in the club and Lil' Wayne is advocating lollipops. Britney seems to be 'making a comeback' (still don't know if that is good or not) and David Cook won American Idols 2008.

Let us take this 2008 journey together.

Colbie Caillat - Bubbly: Closed Captioned

I love this song. I heard it once on VH1 and I had to blog it. This girl has such an amazing voice and this song....Gosh it takes my heart away. It's so heartfelt and so sweet, so romantic....Oh man. sob,sob

Fantasia - When I See You [www.kovideo.net]

I think this song really captures the emotions of a crush. The feelings that you have for this person are so strong that you really don't know what to do which is why this is my favourite verse in the song:
'I scribble X and O's in my notebook
Checking how my hair and my nails look
I feel myself in the zone
I get nervous when you call, so I say I'm not home
I see your face when I hear my favorite song
Should I send an e-mail at home?
You're the #1 topic on the phone
I wonder if you know, or do yo have a clue? Yeah'

Fantasia really is an American Idol.

Common ft Lily Alen - Driving Me Wild - New n Exclusive

common is a poet, that is what I have always said. He is not a 'rapper' like 50cent with nothing to say except hoes and how much money he has.

No, Common has a message, and we as listeners can take it or leave but he is a social commentor on what is happening around us.
This song with Lilly Allen is not so different. I'm glad he used Lilly, she's great.

Robin Thicke - Can U Believe [DVD]

Man I love this song! This man is truly gifted when it comes to songwriting, and singing.

This is easy listening, chill session music that is fantastic.

50 Cent AYO Technology feat Justin Timberlake MUSIC VIDEO

50 Cent is releasing a new album in September same date as Kanye West so they now have a feud going on who's going to sell more albums. My money is on kanye but only because I think he's a better rapper then 50 and that his beats are more innovative (even though they are sampled). I guess we are going to have to wait and see about that one.

Here's a little bit of his new music video 'Ayo Technology' ft Justin and Timbo. The video is very slick and very soft porn, basically a typical rap video.

I wonder why people always have to mess with something good. I was very disappointed to read on BBC.com that Hollywood is remaking the famous movie 'Enter the Dragon'. The Bruce Lee film was a hit in it's day and made the man famous. It's still my favourite Bruce Lee film and the thought of having a remake makes me uneasy.

Remakes are always a bad idea because we have the original and the original is always turns out better then the remake even with the remakes fancy film technologies. Hollywood is naming the remake 'Awaken the Dragon'. Even the name seems a little bit off. Anyways I guess we are going to have to wait and see how it turns out. I mean who else is going to play it as well as Bruce Lee? Well have to wait and see.

Timbaland - The Way I Are OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO

The beat to this song is infectious and the lyrics funny my favourite being:
'Baby if you strip, you can get a tip
'Cause I like you just the way you are
(I'm about to strip and I'm well equiped
Can you handle me the way I are?)'
Baby if you strip, you can get a tip
'Cause I like you just the way you are
(I'm about to strip and I'm well equiped
Can you handle me the way I are?)

And DOE with his rap of: '
Baby girl, I don't got a huge ol' house I rent a room in a house'

This song toppled Rihanna's 'umbrella' from the top spot in the UK so that has to mean something

Nickelback - If Everyone Cared (video)

'If everyone cared, and nobody cried..then we'll see the day that nobody died'

It's an utopia dream of perfection and you tend to wonder if it does us humans justice to even give it a thought because believe it or not, the world is not all good, sometimes bad things happen to good people.

But this song tries to left us up and say that if one person tries to fight injustice then they will do it and also change the world. And that message I believe is something that we could all learn from and aspire too.

Transformers short clip

Love the cartoons as a child so I'm looking forward to seeing the movie.

Timbaland - Throw It On Me Feat The Hives MUSIC VIDEO

Cool vid! The only way you could tell that it's a Hip-hop video is the girls.

Love the song too!

Hollywood is finally coming to our neck of the wood's. And I thought South Africa was going to be the only one that enjoyed the fruits of film making.

The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency books that are written by Alexander McCall Smith, a Scots man who fall in love with Botswana while teaching here, will be turned into a television show starring Jill Scott.

The American media has wrongly reported that the books are based in South Africa, while in actual fact they are based in Botswana, which is why the show will be filmed here. Ads for cast and crew have been in the local newspaper and a certain buzz of 'fame and fortune' has started to surround Gaborone.

I'm excited because I finally have a chance to see a real film crew working and my favourite singer, Jill Scott at the same time. If only she will do a show as well, it will make my year. Such beauty, such a voice...If I have a chance to speak to her I will ask her about the song 'Daydreaming' with Lupe.

I wonder how they are going to do the Botswana accent? Bad I'm sure as Americans have failed when it has come to South African accents in films. And ours is harder too.

When I was in Scotland I tried to read the book, but I thought the characters were too stereotypical of Batswana so I didn't enjoy it that much, but it seems that it is a hit. Who knew? But some one's bread is some one's stone I guess.

Can't wait to see how the TV series will turn out.

I've heard this song that is unbelievable good and it just makes me want to listen to it over and over again and this song is Michael Buble's 'Everything' from his recent album "Call me Irresponsible".

This song is special and has a calmness that just makes you smile when you listen to it. The lyrics are the sweetest thing and my favourite verses being"

"And I can't believe, uh that I'm your man, and I get to kiss you baby just because I can.Whatever comes our way, ah we'll see it through, and you know that's what our love can do.

And in this crazy life, and through these crazy times, it's you, it's you, You make me sing. You're every line, you're every word, you're everything. You're every song, and I sing along.Cause you're my everything.yeah, yeah."

Such cuteness is really irresistible.

The song and the video can be seen at Michael Buble TV.

Such drama with Paris, no wonder the media and the public can't seem to get enough of her, she's a soapie, TV series and movie all rolled into one. She's a disaster waiting to happen and people can't seem to look away especially me.

First she was sentenced to 45 days in jail which was reduced to 23 days (for good behaviour)before she even set foot in the jail, released after 3 days because I'm sure she kissed, fondled and bribed the sheriff and now she's been ordered back to jail by the judge on Friday.

I mean who can keep up with this drama? Now I'm just waiting to see what will happen next, will she become part of the prison break crew? Only time will tell.

Bobby Valentino - Anonymous [NEW VIDEO]

I gotta know your name, your name, why you gotta be anonymous?

What' s your name?
Anonymous...

Isn't this a fantastic song?
Another reason why Timbo is the best!

You know the Japanese come up with some crazy stuff, but this latest invention I will buy. Manufacturer Kameo has designed a pillow shaped like a boyfriend's arm with a man's torso. It is reported that since its sale in December, 1,000 singles have bought it.

I really want to get my hands on this pillow, it's winter now you know. A customer has been quoted as said 'It makes me relaxed..I can hold the arm and feel something warm at my side.'

Unfortunately the pillow is only available in Japan, where it costs about $80. $80! What a price you have to pay for being single.
