common is a poet, that is what I have always said. He is not a 'rapper' like 50cent with nothing to say except hoes and how much money he has.
No, Common has a message, and we as listeners can take it or leave but he is a social commentor on what is happening around us.
This song with Lilly Allen is not so different. I'm glad he used Lilly, she's great.
